Dr. Kathleen Hansen
Dr. Hansen opened Your Family Doktor in 1996 and is still here! She was excited to have Dr. Hooker join her a couple years later and is now happy to have our PA, Beth Jones.
She graduated from Bullard High School, Tyler Junior College, UT Tyler, and finally earned her medical degree from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her residency in general surgery and otolaryngology in Hershey, Pennsylvania, followed by four years of clinical research in Houston, where she also earned her MBA from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
She is married to Flemming, and they have three adult sons- all engineers! With two living in Denver and one in Denmark, they’re officially empty nesters, except for their 15-year-old maltipoo, Chester, who keeps them company and enjoys his daily walks. In her free time, Dr. Hansen loves gardening, traveling, swimming, and participating in church activities. She loves family practice and seeing multiple generations of family members! Dr. Hansen considers it an honor and calling to take care of her patients.
Dr. Mark Hooker
Dr. Mark Hooker is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 20 years of experience serving his patients at YFD.
Born in Houston to native Houstonians, Dr. Hooker graduated from Alvin High School. He then went on to play two years of college baseball at both San Jacinto & University of Houston. When no pro baseball teams came knocking at his door, Dr. Hooker went on to attend UT Houston Medical School. He completed his family medicine residency at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he served as chief resident his final year.
In his free time, Dr. Hooker enjoys spending time with his wife, Wendy, and his two kids, Kevin and Lauren, as well as their two dogs an Italian Greyhound and miniature Dacshund. He also enjoys saltwater fishing and watching our local sports teams.
Beth Jones, PA-C
Beth Jones is a certified physician assistant and the newest addition to our YFD family.
Having been born and raised in Bryan/College Station, she stayed true to her Aggie roots and attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering. She then went on to UTMB in Galveston for her PA training completing rotations across central and south Texas in various specialties. She enjoyed learning in other specialties, but ultimately confirmed primary care is her passion. The relationships built with patients across a lifetime are so special.
Beth moved to the Clear Lake area and began working at YFD in 2022. She and her husband, Brayden, are blessed to be raising their toddler, Elijah, who keeps them on their toes and are expecting to add another little girl to the family very soon! Outside of work they enjoy spending time outdoors in any capacity, playing sports with friends & family, and serving in their local church in League City.

Corey
Registered Nurse
Corey is a registered nurse who has worked at YFD in different capacities since 1997. Even moving to Chattanooga, TN in 2011 didn't keep her away! She has continued to work remote communicating with and caring for our patients here. Corey is married to her high school sweetheart, Daryl, and has three handsome sons and one beautiful daughter-in-law as well as a precious fur baby, Dexter. Corey spends much of her time taking care of her family, including her special needs son. She also enjoys going on hikes, baking allergy-friendly treats, entertaining friends and family, and serving in her church.
Sonia
Medical Assistant
YFD is blessed to have had Sonia with us as an MA for 20 years! Sonia was raised in Houston and still calls the area home. She has been married for 12 years and has two sons, four step-children, and four dogs to keep her busy! She is passionate about rescuing dogs and loves going on walks and to the beach.
Delma
Medical Assistant
Delma is another of our awesome MAs that has been with us many years. Delma has been married for 30 years and has two children, a son-in-law, two dogs, and one awesome grandson! She likes to do crossfit to stay healthy and fills her weekends with relaxation in the sun by her pool.
Deiby
Medical Assistant
Last, but certainly not least is our amazing MA, Deiby. Deiby has 22 years of experience working in family practice- most of those with YFD. She is inspired daily by her husband and their two precious boys. In her free time, Deiby enjoys fun family trips, gardening, and going to the beach.

Office Manager
Meet our office manager, Ashton. Ashton is from League City and has been with YFD for 20 years. She and her husband, Francisco, are happily married and enjoy spending time with their daughter, Bella. Ashton loves all things cats, especially her fur babies KitKat, Buddy, and Mary. She also enjoys reading, glamping, animal rescue, and occasionally pilates.
Louisa
Billing & Medical Records
Louisa is our billing specialist and has been with YFD in different roles for 26 years! Louisa is from Alvin, TX and has nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. She enjoys collecting coins, couponing and most all spending time her her baby, Mija, the most spoiled Shih Tzu around!

Clinical Pathology Laboratories (CPL) is a 3rd-party lab company that provides a phlebotomist right here in our office.
